Change Bandits Appear At Kirksville Wal-Mart:
Thanks & Send Off Notes: The board would also like to thank the parents of our titleholders for all of their support and hard work. The Miss NE Counties board has truly been blessed this year with three wonderful titleholders, and a great group of volunteers to work with. The board is certainly very proud of each of them!
Busy Titleholders: Miss Northeast Counties, Mary Bauer has been very busy these past few months making appearances all over the area. She sang the National Anthem at an MU Baseball game back in April, visited the MU Children's Hospital, and even spent time with preschool students here in Kirksville's own Faith Lutheran School. Mary has been very active in raising money for the Children's Miracle Network through radio-thons and performances throughout the state. Madison Chambers, Miss Northeast Counties Outstanding Teen has also been active in representing our community by participating as a hostess at the recent Relay for Life event held at the Crossing Church here in Kirksville. She was also able to spend time with a group of local students from the Milan School district's music program singing to the kids as well as answering questions about music and her role as a local titleholder. Madison also organized an event called Dance for a Miracle which raised money for the Children's Miracle Network. Samantha Caraway, Miss Kirksville Outstanding Teen has been active in our local community. Along with Mary Bauer, Samantha visited the students at the local Faith Lutheran School where she read and sang to the children. She has also visited local mental health and substance abuse agencies to promote her platform of building positive behaviors in youth. Samantha was also able to appear along with the other titleholders at the local Daddy Daughter Dance in March.
